Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, hayatını kaybeden Müslüman boksör Muhammed Ali’nin perşembe günkü cenazesi ve cuma günkü anma törenine katılmak için ABD’ye gidiyor

Dünya spor tarihinin en büyük figürü olarak kabul edilen şampiyon boksör Muhammed Ali, geçtiğimiz cumartesi günü 74 yaşında hayatını kaybetmişti. ABD'deki ezilmiş siyahi vatandaşların güçlü sesi olan ve Müslümanlığı seçen Ali hem ringlerdeki başarıları hem de hayattaki duruşuyla unutulmaz bir isimdi.

Yarın ABD'ye uçacak
Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan da sporun en büyük isminin cenaze ve anma törenlerine katılmak için ABD'ye gidiyor. Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, yarın gece efsane ismin cenazesine katılmak için ABD'ye gidecek. Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, perşembe günü ABD'deki Müslüman toplumun liderlerinden İmam Zaid Şakir'in tarafından kıldırılacak cenaze namazında saf tutacak. Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, cuma günü de anma ve uğurlama töreninde yer alacak.

Erdoğan törende konuşma yapacak
Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'ın tarihe büyük izler bırakan Muhammed Ali için bir konuşma yapacağı da belirtildi. Muhammed Ali ailesinin basın sözcüsü Bob Gunnell, Ürdün Kralı 2. Abdullah ve eski ABD Başkanı Bill Clinton'ın da törende konuşacağı öğrenildi.
